This is one of many book groups around the country which make up the Federation of Children's Book Groups. It is for anyone interested in finding out more about good children's books, whether they are parents, teachers, librarians or booksellers. We meet for talks and discussions, hold regular story times and occasionally we arrange children's activities. We are always pleased to welcome anyone new. We also fundraise, in order to give books to the community – playgroups, social services' projects, etc. – and promote the enjoyment of reading and good children's books generally in our local areas.
